Hours:

We are open 10:00am to 8:00pm, Tuesdays through Sundays, but attendants are only on hand when they feel like it. Please note that you're on the honor system if you come when they're not here; this is not an open invitation to come and borrow things.

Cost:

There is no charge for admission to the museum for acceptable visitors (see below). A small donation - money that is - is appreciated. We emphasize what should be obvious about its needing to be money because we have heard the one about going to the bathroom and claiming "Well, I made my small donation!". We have heard it way too many times to even smile politely about it any more in fact, because, frankly, we're sick of it.

(Please check our admissions policy to make sure that you are an acceptable visitor. We'd hate to have you come all the way here and have you cooling your heels on the doorstep while all your friends were inside.)

Tours:

Guided tours of the museum for groups of visitors can be arranged. There is a small charge of $5.00 per person for tours during normal hours, and $7.50 per person if you choose to take your tour during off hours. This small surcharge is not a problem for many people, given that you can take a tour when there's no riff-raff around.

The musuem prefers that tour parties be limited to groups of forty or fewer, but there are ways to get around that, if you take our meaning. An extra "small donation" in the right places, and you'd be amazed what we can arrange.

Tours must be arranged at least a week in advance; please call for details. Payment must be made before the tour will start, ever since that business with the Swedes.
