"A blatant forgery", said the professor of this picture (See detail, right). "Like a guy reading a novel on the job - even if he is two thirds of the way through it and just got to the really good part - isn't going to hide the book when they come around to take his picture. And what's that in his left hand? Money bags? Like he's going to sit around reading a book when he's got the company stash in his hands!".

A little cleaning behind Professor Kunstmetzger's closed doors soon revealed Holbein's true intentions with this work - in the professor's words “To show what a young man at work actually looks like”.

At this point, we called the police.
